Knickstape
Coming into the nba season the New York Knicks were looked upon on as one of the top teams in the nba. However the knicks started the season with a disappointing record 3-11. Last night they broke a horrible ten game losing streak with one of the best performances of the season. After trade rumors knicks guard shumpert had a great game on five of seven shooting from behind the three point line. Injury prone stoudemire has been slowly showing flashes of his past. Stoudemire use to be an all star and is showing his old form with several emphatic dunks. He has been playing the center position in spot of the injured all star Tyson Chandler. Knicks star Carmelo Anthony was hot knocking down shot after shot and finding open teammates for easy baskets. He was very active and grabbed a team high ten rebounds. Last years sixth man of the year Jr Smith has been struggling lately with a poor shooting percentage. Last night he shot 50 percent in the field and made the person guarding him fall with an ankle breaking crossover move. If the knicks continue to play like last night they will be able to redeem themselves. The eastern Atlantic division has been losing slot lately and the knicks are only five games behind the leading team. The problem lately was the defense because defensive anchor tyson chandler is injured. He is projected to return within 2 weeks and will bring back a big shot blocking body in the paint. The knicks blew out the rival team Brooklyn nets in their own building. The knicks received chants for their team in an opponents building.

I liked that you wrote about something you are really interested in. I feel you actually enjoyed writing this. And you included facts which made it great.
ReplyDeleteI'd be a liar if I were to say this was my cup of tea - frankly, basketball just makes me sleepy, but, indeed, the New York Knicks made an astounding comeback from their (amazing) ten-game losing streak. Congrats to the team for making up not only for their injured all star, Tyson Chandler & their prior inability to win.
ReplyDeleteI was a bit confused (& concerned) though: is it really okay that Jr. Smith made the opponent break a literal ankle for the team? o~o; Besides this, I really liked your "play-by-play" type of format (almost, not really) format; it shows why this game was significant almost versus their losing games.
